Adira August’s On His Knees tempted me with the cover, enticed me at the title, captured me with the synopsis, and sucker punched me with its content. Wow, oh wow!

What makes this even more captivating is Cam's utter control at such a young age, Dane's confidence as an older man in allowing his submission to someone so much his junior and a little taboo. What's taboo you ask? Merriam-Webster defines taboo as "banned on grounds of morality or taste." For some, based upon "taste", a couple scenes within On His Knees might be considered taboo.
August does a fantastic job in On His Knees showing that Cam holds the key to Hunter’s true submissive side. With respect to technical aspects of BDSM equipment and safety precautions she portrays a Dom who trains his sub in more ways than one dissipating the ghosts haunting Hunt’s mind and creating an ending that leaves the reader hopeful for more!
