BLURB:

A male escort takes on an inexperienced client and breaks the first rule of rent boys: don’t get attached.

After updating his Rent Boy blog profile, well-endowed porn star Ty receives a text from a sexually inexperienced client. Andy, the client, asks Ty to provide him with the necessary know-how so should he ever get a date with the guy he’s attracted to, he’ll be fully prepared.

Little does Ty know that this hookup will lead to a friendship that will subsequently change his life.

REVIEW:

As Finding Love: The Perfect Size for You, by Lily G. Blunt, begins 25 year old Tyrone (Ty) is frustrated. After three months he expected to attract more tricks from his Rent Boy page. His original thought was that his six years in the porn industry would be an enticement and some have admitted it is. However, he has begun to wonder if it might intimidate others. So he sets out to make himself more approachable. Updating his page to highlight his many “attributes”.

Let’s just say that Ty seems to have a fascination with his size.

Within moments of his revisions he gets a text from Andy and they set up a meeting for the next day. When Ty arrives Andy is nothing as to what he expected. A shy, inexperienced 18 year old, closeted, gay virgin looking for direction. And Ty is drawn to give the “kid” just that.

In the midst of a couple two hour meetings Ty finds himself taken by Andy. By his boyish charm, his humor and even his enthusiasm.

As a budding friendship develops between the two Ty finds himself torn, wanting to cross the line between client and escort. But how can he do this when Andy’s new found confidence seems to be attracting him the man of his dreams while at the same time Ty is attracting more clientele?

Here in lies the beautifully refreshing charm of Finding Love. Blunt gives Ty and Andy a sweet boyish quality of discovery about them that endeared me to them and held me captive needing to know where their attraction would lead.

Their connection was honest and enjoyable and a reminder that our feelings should not be held back lest we miss the chance at true happiness.

I can’t wait for the follow-up to this too short story so I can learn if you truly can obtain what “you always want but can’t have”.

I was given a copy of Finding Love: The Perfect Size for You by the author, at no charge, in exchange for my fair and honest opinion.

EXCERPT:

The door opened, and a skinny geek with specs faced me. Thinking I had the wrong house, and worried that the boy’s father had made the appointment, I floundered. Now, that will be awkward. How’s he planning to get his kid out of the house?

“Excuse me. I’m looking for Andy. Is he here?”

The boy flushed bright red and pushed up his black-framed glasses. “That’s me, I’m Andy Parker. You have the right address.”

You’ve got to be kidding me.

“Okay, son! How old are you?” He didn’t look a day over fifteen.

His eyes widened, but his gaze didn’t leave mine. He bristled a little, rising to his full height. “I’m eighteen. Nineteen in three months. I can show you my ID, if you like.” He looked beyond my shoulder, then ushered me hastily inside.

I followed him to the kitchen. “I’m Tyrone, by the way.”

He hadn’t even asked my name. I could have been any weirdo coming into his home. I guessed he recognized me from my online photos or my porn videos. Whatever. It looked like he was expecting me anyway.
