Monday Mentions: April 11, 2016
This Monday Mention finds me in Las Vegas attending the Book Blogger convention at RT.
As I set this article up to auto post…I hope you get it. (I fear technology doing what it is expected to do.)
What better way to introduce our first book than Vegas.
Vegas makes you think money, right? Well Parker Avrile’s second book in her The Runaway Model series, The Runaway Millions, tackles just that. Kyle and Bryce find themselves trying to support one another thru the pitfalls of the changing tides of income and fame.
Our next book this Monday is Ryan Loveless’ Pop Life. Where two yearning heart’s desire to come together yet fear their battling emotions may drag them down.
Pre- Order Now thru April 15th for $0.99!!!
BLURB:
They're the perfect couple until the money runs out...
Kyle, a rising male model, is the toast of Manhattan. Bryce, a wildcatter who got rich in the Bakken gas fields, is an inch away from becoming America's newest billionaire.
But their world is turned upside-down when a competing oil company wrests away Bryce's business, his personal jet, and even his condo. Bryce has no choice but to scramble to save his career-- even though a famous rock star is sniffing around in hopes of claiming Kyle for his own.
When Kyle steps forward to defend another model accused of a terrible crime, he's deported. The tabloids follow him, happy to spread rumors about his alleged affairs with the beautiful and the famous of Europe.
Can love survive when one man is on his way up while the other is on his way down? When an ocean divides the lovers? When the gossip columns can't help stirring the pot?
BLURB:
Andrew writes the songs everyone sings along with on the radio—tunes full of love, longing, and heartbreak. He has a knack for tapping into emotions, but when it comes to his own, the feelings aren’t so easy to manage. Sent to New York City to work on Irish singer Paeder Brogan’s first solo album, Andrew is caught in the middle of a boy band’s infighting and secret love affairs while battling the memories of his last trip to the Big Apple, which ended when English pop star Jamie Webster drunkenly kissed him.
Andrew’s heart leaps when he discovers he’s staying at the same hotel as Jamie, yet he doubts Jamie recalls him, even though Andrew wrote his biggest hit. Jamie remembers him, though, and he seems to think Andrew is the only person who can save him from his downward spiral. Even as his feelings for Jamie swell, Andrew faces the real threat that the maelstrom he’s walked into will pull him down alongside Jamie.
