REVIEW:

After reading the book blurb for The Runaway Model, the first book in the The Runaway Model series by Parker Avrile, I was excited to read this book. Having read it, I am now excited to read the series.

We meet Kyle Marchane, the main character, after he has recently turned 16. Kyle is your average teenager living in England. He loves music, fabulous clothes and beautiful people. Oh, and he has more interest in his favorite rock star, Stoney Rockland, than school. In fact he has big dreams that involve Stoney.

Kyle happens to be one of the beautiful people and his outer beauty ends up being both a pro and a con in his life.

Kyle's beauty has attracted the attention of his math teacher, Roman Nigel.

Kyle has been trying to avoid Roman's attention for two years now, and his disinterest in school is only magnified by Roman's attentions. Kyle skips school just to avoid Roman. However, no matter where Kyle goes, Roman shows up.

When Roman take his attentions to a level that can not be ignored Kyle is left with no other choice but to leave all he knows behind and move to America.

Kyle is as resourceful as he is beautiful and he begins to build his new life around his idol, Stoney Rockland.

But everything does not go as he dreamt, not even meeting his idol.

As if by chance, Kyle meets a man named Bryce Auburn. Little do they know, Bryce will play a much bigger part in Kyle's life than either of them could imagine.

Just as it appears his life may be coming together Roman shows up and he will stop at almost nothing to possess Kyle.

Kyle must now put his faith in Bryce, to try and finally escape Roman.

The Runaway Model will suck you in and you won’t be able to stop reading it.

Avrile creates characters who are very relatable. I felt right along with Kyle and Bryce as they tried to navigate what to do about their undeniable attraction and their circumstances. If you enjoy romance with intrigue, The Runaway Model is for you.

A copy of The Runaway Model was provided to Kimmers’ Erotic Book Banter by Parker Avrile, in exchange for our fair and honest opinion

I’m Parker Avrile, author of slightly spicy, slightly glitzy contemporary male/male romance.
