REVIEW:

I found After The Snap by Peyton Miller to be a great read. So much so that I was shocked to find out this is Peyton’s first book.

This has definitely made me want to give anything Miller writes a try.

Seth is a steamy, sweet and sexy college football player finishing up his final season. Like any graduate he has a lot going on. But when you are trying to find out who you truly are while concentrating on being drafted to the NFL, the stress becomes paramount.

Let me just say, even though I am not HIS type I think I may have a small crush on Seth. I don't even watch sports, but he sure makes me want to watch football.

In After The Snap some personal as well as professional issues develop between Seth and his college football coach. Their relationship and the story as a whole become a representation of the roller coaster of life.

Then there is Colby. Colby completely draws you in and makes you root for him.

Colby wants more out of life. But he is very busy in his career and not sure if he should bury himself in work or give a relationship another chance. Still reeling from a bad break-up he is not sure he is ready for his heart to be broken again.

Both focusing on their careers, Seth and Colby meet as if by chance. Like many of us, they are afraid of getting hurt.

They both want a relationship: But do they dare try?

Should they play it safe? Is safe really living? Relationship versus one night stand? In the long run, what is better?

Add to that the fact that they both are keeping secrets from one another. While the two weigh the options of telling each other their hidden truths, they must also consider the risk and fall out if they do. Is the high worth the low?

Please my dear readers, give this book a chance. It is definitely worth the risk!

I found After The Snap to be heartwarming, but most of all it left me feeling positive and believing in love.

I can't wait to hear how you fall in love with this story and its characters. Don't let their tale be a secret between us.
