REVIEW:

In her usual style of adding detail and believability to a short read, Liberty Lace starts off The Hush-Hush Crush with a bang—and not the kind of bang you would expect.

Scott is working off his sexual frustration at home before the arrival of his twin brother, Sawyer. Just the thought of Sawyer brings up all sorts of anxiety for Scott.

When Sawyer arrives you quickly see that even though they are twins, they are opposites in many ways. Scott believes this is the result of him constantly pushing Sawyer away all these years rather than admitting what he truly feels for his brother.

As the twins interact you can almost feel the sexual tension between them!

Sawyer’s boldness is certainly an indication of his interest, but Scott doesn’t see his actions for what they really are.

Because Scott believes his desire for his twin is wrong, he can’t trust that Sawyer could possibly have intimate feelings for him.

Sawyer ultimately becomes the pursuer and as they realize their mutual attraction, you cannot help but be sinfully tantalized yourself.

I swear that Lace is the queen at taking something deemed as taboo and making you yearn for it deep in your gut, all the way down in your loins.

With their revelation, Liberty Lace takes the finale of The Hush-Hush Crush on a journey that has your heart racing and your head spinning. You realize that, in the words of Sawyer, “people expect us to live life by a set of rules that sometimes just don’t work.”

After reading several of Lace’s works I have to say that she will remain on my radar as my go-to author for taboo!
