About Let Your Heart Decide

New house, new job. A new start with his brother....

Two out of three isn't bad, right?

Rhys returns to his hometown and must face the brother he's been avoiding for two years. In his heart, Rhys still hopes to recapture the bond they once shared.

Jake willingly offers him the hand of friendship, but Rhys is reluctant to confront their past, fearing it will only rip them apart again.

When Rhys sees ghostly figures in the grounds of a local historic house, it leads him to investigate their shocking past--and to face his heart's true desire.

Please note this is a taboo romance featuring two brothers.

REVIEW:

I just want to start off by saying that Lily G. Blunt’s Let Your Heart Decide is unlike any taboo I have ever read. No, scratch that, it is unlike any romance I have read.

First, although it is in the blurb and the tags, let’s get the warning out of the way. If incest is not your cup of tea then don’t venture here. This is a beautiful story of two brothers following an undeniable attraction. Now….let us continue…..

Let Your Heart Decide has a very strong start with the two brothers coming together, truly coming together, and then there is an immediate fallout.

As it branches off you feel as if you are reading three books in one.

There is the main story of Rhys and Jake, two brothers that are reconnecting after two years. Then you have this whole back story about Rhys seeing apparitions on his property. Which also leads into some history behind the local.

I think this is what I found most intriguing about Lily’s book. I couldn’t decide which part of the story I wanted to unfold.

I most definitely wanted to see Rhys and Jake’s relationship unfold and at times I felt frustrated because it just seemed like Rhys was making excuse after excuse and we weren’t getting anywhere. Not even to sex! But boy when the sex does happen….look out!

Then you had the tale within the tale. Why was Rhys seeing these “ghosts” and who were they. That got even more fun as the story went on because he has these adoring neighbors who are able to educate him on the history of the area. Not to mention Philip tries his best to charm Rhys.

What made all of this work together is the fact that Blunt immediately creates some well developed and well-rounded characters you can connect with.

From there the story just appears to almost tell itself organically.

At its culmination Let Your Heart Decide is a journey. Rhys’ journey. A beautiful journey of self-realization, of heart and mind. Accepting that “Love has no boundaries….Love knows no limits….Love is eternal…..”
