Monday Mentions: September 19, 2016

This week we bring you a special edition of Monday Mentions.

It has been just over three months since a gunman took the lives of 49 people and wounded 53 others in the deadliest terrorist attack, hate crime, on U.S. soil since 9/11.

Since this tragic day, many people have gathered together to show their support for those personally impacted and the LGBT community as a whole. Our beloved authors, publishers, artists, etc. are no exception. To see this in action one only needs to go to the Kimmers’ Erotic Book Banter home page where you will find a host of book collaboration’s, with purchase links, where proceeds benefit Pulse directly or other LGBT organizations.

Several talented individuals at Dreamspinner Press are adding to that list today with their release of One Pulse. One Pulse is a collection of stories including everything from contemporary, to ghosts, science fiction, even western. With all proceeds benefiting LGBT organizations in Central Florida. For full story blurbs be sure and check out the excerpt.

Looking at this list of contributing authors I'm certain you won’t want to miss out: Connie Bailey, Ellis Carrington, Edmond Manning, Chrissy Munder, Caitlin Ricci, Andrea Speed, M.T. Aspen, Jayce Ellis, Sera Kane, Dev Bentham, George Seaton, Renee Stevens, Emery C Walters, Vicktor Alexander, Alicia Nordwell, C.C. Dado, M.A. Church, Troy Storm, Mickie B. Ashling, KC Burn, Jon Keys, John Goode, John Amory, Grace R. Duncan, Felicitas Ivey, Elizabeth Noble, Bree Cariad, Lila Leigh Hunter, Laura Lascarso, J. C. Long

Oh, and you are gonna want to stop back by the Banter tomorrow where J.C. Long is stopping to talk to us about his experience in being part of One Pulse.

It is never too late to show your support for Pulse victims and survivors as well as the LGBT community as a whole. I hope you consider this book as well as the many others created to make a difference.

Make it a great week!

We at the Banter would love to know if you have purchased any of our Monday Mentions and, if so, how well you liked them. Please feel free to comment below.

BLURB: Stories drive life. Sometimes life is good; sometimes life is bad. But it’s the nature of our community that in the aftermath of an act of hatred, we respond with love. Because darkness cannot exist in the presence of light. Cruelty cannot stand against compassion. Negativity will never overcome hope.

To show our support for those affected by the Orlando shooting, our authors, editors, artists, and staff have volunteered their talents to create this anthology. All proceeds will be donated to LGBT organizations in central Florida. Join us as we celebrate the triumph of love over every obstacle.
