REVIEW: Holy motherfucking shitballs! Revived, the second book in Kora Knight’s The Dungeon Black Duology series, kept my heart in a tight fist for the three days it took me to read this completely immersive tale.
These characters are so real, I just want to visit and hang out.
Not only do we get to continue Max and Sean’s story, but we get a further look at Tad and Scott’s journey, from the Upending Tad series, along the way - double bonus! Be sure and check out book one in The Dungeon Black Duology series, Unearthed, if you don’t want to miss one minute of the emotional connection these men possess.
Oh, the feels!!
Kora is a unique author with a massive talent for keeping you on the edge of your seat - or just edging in general!
My favourite nickname for her is the ‘Edge Queen’ and she has outdone herself in this book.
Chest pangs, tears, laughter, yelling at the Kindle, and pining when you put the book down are all side effects of this narrative. But most of all I guarantee you’ll feel it....deep down!
Heartbroken, poignant, euphoric, and frustrated are just a mere selection of the emotions I experienced when reading Revived by Kora Knight….and I would do it all again tomorrow.
In fact, it’s about time I re-read Kora’s Upending Tad series - again.
