4 HEART READ
REVIEW: In the Mood for Love, a collection of lesbian romance novelettes, was my first foray into the female, female genre and it was a perfect starter! Each story is enough to develop the characters and get you hooked with some fabulous writing by Harper Bliss.
An element of forbidden, self-discovery and growth all make these tales enjoyable and easy to read.
As a Pansexual in a hetero relationship, I enjoyed the F/F genre as a welcome change and Harper’s portrayal of the women in these stories is very well balanced and easy to follow. Each novelette has a distinct storyline with defined characters and a comfortable length for a quick read during a lunch break or before bedtime.
I would highly recommend In the Mood for Love by Harper Bliss for anyone wondering if this author or genre is for them.
I will certainly be looking more at this author’s back catalogue as her writing style is catchy, fun and hot!
Plus, I will now certainly consider adding more reads of this type to my TBR list!
