“Hey, guys. Thanks for coming along and agreeing to this.”
“Sitting in a bar is never gonna be a problem, as long as you don’t want to know which of us has the biggest dick, we’ll be okay”
“Jeez what a way to start. I’m sorry, he has no filter sometimes.”
“Carter, you know he has no filter any of the time.” Dan winks at me putting me at ease.
“I promise there are no questions like that, but if you want to share that info, I’m sure my readers would like it.” I smile at three of the best-looking men I’ve ever seen. “You ready to start?”
“Yep” They all answer.
“Awesome. The first question is easy. What do you like most about each other? Carter, I’ll let you start.”
“Great.” Major eye-rolling going on! “I guess it’s how much they care for me and each other, they are both pretty selfless. Apart from hogging the covers, Dan is a nightmare for that!”
“Hey, just ‘cause you sleep in the middle you get the heat from both of us, I need to have my share.”
“Okay, maybe I should ask another. Ha, this is a fun one. Which one of you do you think is JJ’s favorite?”
“Me!” A loud chorus from them all has them laughing.
“I’m pretty sure it’s me.” Dan answers, “She knows her shit, that girl.”
“A simple one now. Favorite food, do you all have the same taste?”
“Carter is a great cook, I like anything he cooks, if it was up to me I’d end up with pizza but Carter makes a great Chicken Marsala.”
“We grill a lot too, I like steak. We eat pretty much anything.”
“Okay, pet peeves, who has the worst habits?”
“I don’t think they have anything that really bugs me.” Carter smiles and looks over at his men.
“Dan has a habit of tapping his teeth with his fork. That bugs me.”
“I don’t do that, do I?” They both nod at him and burst out laughing.
“Yeah, you do.”
“Quick fire questions now. Just answer with the first thing that comes to you.”
“Okay.”
“Cats or dogs?”
“Dogs” a unanimous chorus.
“Ski or surf?”
“Surf”
“Ski”
“Ooh that's two against one.”
“Brussel sprouts?”
“Gross!" All agreed on that one.
“Popcorn, sweet or salty?”
“Both. I like to mix them up. I throw M&Ms in there too.” Dan laughs.
“Last one.” I laugh. “Pancakes or waffles?”
“Both! And always with bacon.” Carter laughs. “Dan makes the best breakfasts.”
“Just one more thing. Do you think you’ll get married?”
I watch as the three of them look at each other and I get a glimpse of the true love that shines from the their eyes. Carter blushes, pale pink flushes his neck and cheeks.
“I’d like to think so, maybe one day.” He smiles.
“Thank you, gentlemen, for your time. The pleasure has been mine.”
