Charlie Cochet’s audiobook, Gummy Bears & Grenades has it all: The great narration of Mark Westfield, who brings this awesome series to life, Cochet’s amazing cast of characters and bachelor party fun!
Dex and Sloane are counting down the days until they say “I do”. Dex and friends are headed to Dekatria to celebrate Dex’s bachelor party while Sloane spends some memorable time with his soon to be father-in-law, Tony. What could possibly go wrong? Well, we are talking about Dex so there’s no question something crazy will happen.
As always Mark Westfield injects lots of humor in his narration and I couldn’t help but laugh. The bachelor party is all kinds of fun and it’s great to see Dex having a ball and hanging out with his crew. Everyone is dressed to the nines and enjoying themselves.
With her THIRDS series author Charlie Cochet has created a world filled with humor, mystery and suspense and most important of all, romance.
Quite a few interesting things transpire throughout the night. After all, trouble seems to be Dex’s middle name. There are gummy bears in abundance as usual and chaos ensues. There’s even a surprise party crasher who at once manages to help and get under Dex’s skin.
With her THIRDS series author Charlie Cochet has created a world filled with humor, mystery and suspense and most important of all, romance. I have really enjoyed going on this journey and falling in love with not only amazing characters but the world in which they live in. And in this installment I was really happy to see Sloane and Tony spending time together. These two have come a long way throughout the series and it’s great to see the progression of their relationship.
In Gummy Bears & Grenades all of my favorite characters are here and I enjoyed getting to see them hanging out and having a good time. Listening to this novella only leaves me wanting more. I’m anxious to listen to Tried & True to see what’s next in Dex and Sloane’s lives and I cannot wait for the wedding and to see how things play out.
