HOT TOPIC: Bi Visibility Day

As we embark on this, the 18th Annual Bi Visibility Day, our team here at Kimmers’ Erotic Book Banter thought it important to bring a little “visibility” to the topic: Through resources, in addition to links to literary lists with bisexuality as the theme. Everything from M/M, to YA and female characters.

With a growing number of men and women confirming their bisexuality education and understanding has never been more important.

So, what is bisexuality? Merriam-Webster defines it as:

Simple

  • sexually attracted to both men and women

  • having both male and female sex parts

  • relating to or involving two sexes

Full

  1. 1 a : possessing characters of both sexes : hermaphroditic b : of, relating to, or characterized by a tendency to direct sexual desire toward both sexes

  2. 2 : of, relating to, or involving both sexe

Still confused? To the people who identify as bisexual it is more than a definition. Read some of their personal stories shared at Bisexual.org to see what they want you to know about their sexual identity.
